The Americas Cup is so intense because Oracle have come back and only need three more wins. Up till the last three days we have dominated we were untouchable.
I think New Zealand will win because we are the better team and the weather forecast is for low winds and the last time it was low winds we won by 1 kilometre.
For the first five days it was boring because we were always winning but now Oracle are fighting to win and they're winning quite a bit. Tomorrow I think we will win the cup 9-6.
Sometimes I think that America cheats because for some reason its always our fault that there's no wind. They only have one American on the boat. The manager called 11 New Zealanders to fly over there and modify there boat so they could actually have a chance of winning. They're always complaining that the wind limits are to low and and they're blamming it on us. They're are just sore losers.
That is what I think of the Americas Cup so far.
Just think the three "W's"
WE WILL WIN.

Futsal Training.
Every Friday in period 3 and 4, kids from football team go out to play the new game Futsal.
Futsal is basically football, but with a heavy ball. The ball can't leave the ground or it's turn over.
One of the players, Leo says, "This game is great" and "Did you get a picture of that goal?"

Next To The Fire
Snuggled up in front of the fire on my favourite bean bag and a couple of pillows watching TV. It is a cold late winters night and there is no place I'd rather be.
My favourite place in the house is next to the fire because I like looking into the flames, lazing on the beanbag and pillows and all the heat going onto my legs. When I get out of the shower I race over to the fire as quick as possible to keep warm. I like being next to the fire because its so warm and the rest of the house is so cold.

Deforestation
Deforestation is a crime! It's murder, a sick crime against the environment. I am Molly Macdonald and I am fighting for the air we breath, the camping trips into the forest and the animals who cannot speak for the self.
We are losing preshious rainforest at an alarming rate. In fact we lose a football feild and a half every second. You have cut down 50% of rainforest in the last 40 years. Beautiful, lush rainforest, murdered and destroyed in seconds. Only 50 years ago rainforest covered 14% of earth, now it only covers 6%.
A life sorce. You need it, I need it, we all need it. The amazon rainforest produces 20% of the worlds oxygen, and yet you cut it down. Scientist predict that in 35 years the megority of rainforests will be gone, does that mean majority of oxygen will be gone as well?
Do you need medicene when your sick? 25% of all western medicine comes from rainforest sources alone. Only 1% of all medicinal plants have been explored! What about all the plants that are yet to be discovered? Could they hold a cure for cancer?
Are you aware that 35 species of animals vanish from our earth every day? That's 12775 per year! Will there still be red pandas and tigers in 50 years time? Will my children be able to explore forests when they're my age?
Do we really need the latest stationary, wooden tables and desks? We are all consumers. We are all contributing to deforestation.
Take a deep breath, let the oxygen fill your lungs, let the animals run free, let cancer be cured. Take a stand we can stop deforestation.

Energy
This term our whole school has been doing research about energy and how we use it in our every day lives. In our class we have taken an every day problem, eg: Going out to the shed in the rain to get the wood, and create a design of a machine that could resolve our problem.
We presented our design as a poster and used magazine clippings as mechanical parts instead of drawings. Kate said, "I have enjoyed presenting my work in this way." It was a fun and creative way to present our work that we have all enjoyed.

Two Voice Poem - The Haka
I say the words,
I speak with pride.
I know some actions,
I know all the actions.
I look at the ground,
I stand tall.
I'm nervous,
I'm exited.
I stand with my friends,
I call on my ancestors.
I laugh,
I pukana.
