Fairytale Introduction

In room 4 we are writing a story about Little Red Riding Hood, except we are proving the Big Bad Wolf to be innocent. Here's the introduction to my story:

Everyone knows who Little Red Riding Hood is, right? Wrong! The real Little Red Riding Hood is an agent for a secret unit of the government called Division. She has been in this business for 6 years, and she is one of the best agents in the history of Division, even though she is the youngest one.

Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori runs from 1-7 July 2013. The theme is ‘Ngā ingoa Māori, Māori names’. We encourage you to learn more about Māori names, including place names and names of people you may know. Watch the video and then have a wee chat about the following questions.

Ko wai to ingoa? What is your name? Do you know why you were called that? Have you changed your name so other people can say it? What do you think about that?
